The courageous men and women of the Bondi lifeguards return for another huge summer of rescues, arrests and close calls in the premiere of season 13 of Bondi Rescue, next week
A record-setting summer saw Bondi crowds grow to over 40,000 beachgoers a day, keeping the team in the tower busier than they have ever been.
Across the season, there will be amazing rescues from huge swells, resuscitations that bring people back from the brink of death and a police chase that sees the beach buggy go off-road in hot pursuit.
Also hitting the Bondi waves this summer is Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull, who takes time out from his dip to talk with the team about growing up in Bondi and the important role the lifeguards play.
The tower also welcomes two new team members, 32-year-old big wave rider Lukas Street-Wong, aka “Boo”, and 19-year-old trainee, Lachlan McArthur.\
Bondi Rescue returns 7:30pm Tuesday March 13 on Ten .
