Bluebottle’s jelly good time has come to an end, as interior design queen Shaynna Blaze was revealed as our sultry singing sea creature.
Despite a tidal wave of applause for Bluebottle’s rendition of Blondie’s Call Me and stellar effort against Tiny as they duelled Elvis Presley’s hit A Little Less Conversation, she was selected by the panel to have her identity uncovered.
Whilst Chrissie ‘CSI’ Swan had nominated Shaynna in week one of the competition, tonight Bluebottle had the guessing panel drowning in her clues. Instead, they locked in Cyndi Lauper, Emma Bunton, Florence Welch and The Masked Singer Australia alum, Dannii Minogue.
Following her unmasking, Shaynna and Chrissie admitted that they had been texting about whether she was under one of the masks.
Chrissie exclaimed: “I texted you and you said you couldn’t get here even if you wanted to!”
Shaynna jested, “I was busy!”, before revealing that she had in fact been flying around the country throughout the experience in order to tick off her many commitments.
She then revealed: “[Singing] was something I squashed for a long time, but now it’s time to bring the vocal chords back out again I think.”
