Beau Ryan Bows Out On A Spicy Salsa.

Beau Ryan Bows Out On A Spicy Salsa.

Beau Ryan and dance partner Megan Wragg said adios to their dancing dreams.

For the first time tonight, our dancers had to dance twice. Not only did they need to learn a brand new lustful Latin Night routine, but they also had to ace their first team dance performance, which contributed significantly towards determining their fate in the competition.

This new layer of pressure was all too much for jokester Beau Ryan, who had spent the week delicately juggling his rehearsal schedule with his life commitments.

On leaving Dancing With The Stars Beau said: “It’s been one hell of a journey. I challenge myself every day and this was one huge challenge and I won’t stop.”

Donning their best Latino costumes, our remaining eight celebrities danced to the likes of Selena Gomez, Ed Sheeran, Lady Gaga and Shawn Mendes.

It was no rest for the wicked as Beau Ryan brought the heat with his Tarzan chest on show, proving he still found the time to get “triple dipped in Egyptian gold” as Craig so eloquently described.

Unfortunately, Sharna dubbed it “a little bit too solid in the mid” which landed Beau on the bottom end of the leader board.

Ed Kavalee pumped the passion into his Paso Doble with Sharna labelling it straight up “fire!”, Craig praised the drama of the performance and Tristan declared he had upped the ante on last week’s comeback performance. It was straight 8’s across the board, landing him top of the leader board.

Claudia promised to bring 100% sexy tonight and boy did she deliver with her rumba which Sharna proclaimed “the best rumba we’ve seen so far”. Tristan found it “powerful and luxurious” – that sounds like our classy Claudia! Chasing Ed’s matador coat-tails, she finished second on the leader board.

With a steamy bed scene to start, Chloe Lattanzi’s rib injury got the better of her but Craig insisted she “truly is a lovely dancer”.

Dami Im released her inhibitions on the dance floor, and even though “it wasn’t technically the samba”, and it was reminiscent of someone that had too much to drink at the work Christmas party, it was enough to see her scrape through for another week of dance tuition.

Humbling feedback last week from our judges saw Celia Pacquola land her lowest score yet, but it was enough of a reality check to kick our sexy senorita back into gear tonight with her rumba. Sharna related to Celia’s battle with anxiety and encouraged her to channel her mental health challenges into her future performances.

If you thought Christian Wilkins didn’t have a bad bone in his body, you best think again. The passion was palpable as he pulsated across the floor with another strong performance as he improves week on week.

The Brazilian Wiggles, dressed in their Moulin Rogue best, all brought something special to their samba with Claudia Karvan declaring the team dance with Celia Pacquola, Beau Ryan and Dami Im to be the highlight of their Dancing With The Stars experience, likening practice to school camp.

Rome wasn’t built in a day but a dramatic and theatrical Paso Doble can evidently be taught in a day. Our Roman soldiers Travis Cloke, Chloe Lattanzi, Ed Kavalee and Christian Wilkins took out the night with their “clean and strong” ensemble piece, bumping Ed Kavalee to the top of the leaderboard.

With Beau no longer in the competition, seven celebrities are left to shimmy their way to dancing glory when they board the school bus and take us on a journey back to yesteryear for Back To School week next Sunday on 10’s Dancing With The Stars.

And don’t forget to vote to keep your favourite celebrity dancing. SMS their name to 1995 1010 or log onto www.10play.com.au
