Bachelor in Paradise has a mass Exodus

As finale approaches, Bachelor in Paradise had a mass exodus of people and there was shocks galore.

With their time in paradise quickly coming to an end, the remaining singles and couples were feeling the pressure to either connect with someone or take their relationship to the next level.

Happy couples Tara and Sam, Ali and Grant, Keira and Jarrod, and Megan and Jake were all feeling confident and in love.

Simone and Apollo were spending a lot of time together but not yet in love, while Rachael and Thomas had only been on one date and were not yet an established couple.  This left Florence, Jared and Elora as the only singles remaining on the island and feeling nervous when host Osher Günsberg announced there would be a rose ceremony tonight.

Determined to give things one last go with Apollo, Elora organised some fire sticks for them to twirl on the beach. They stripped off, oiled up and performed for the rest of the group, while Simone was left alone by the bar.

Simone was upset and tired of Elora trying to steal her man. Apollo reassured her they were only friends, but Simone still felt threatened and questioned whether she could stay in paradise for much longer.

At the rose ceremony, the men had the power for the second week in a row. Grant gave his rose to Ali, Jarrod gave his rose to Keira, Sam gave his rose to Tara, Jake gave his rose to Megan, and Thomas gave his rose to Rachael.

Next was Jared, who decided not to hand out his rose as he had failed to form a romantic connection with anyone. Osher removed his rose from the table while Jared said his goodbyes and left paradise immediately.

Last was Apollo, who picked Simone, leaving Elora and Florence without a rose.

After the rose ceremony, Apollo spoke to Simone about how he was feeling. He told her he did not want to rush things but wished to continue spending time with her at their own pace.

In the end, the pair decided it was best for them to leave paradise, together, and to give dating a go in the real world.

The next day, Osher revealed that there were no more rose ceremonies and it was time for each couple to make an important decision. Those serious about each other were allowed to stay, but those not ready to commit would have to leave paradise separately.

Tara and Sam, Ali and Grant, Keira and Jarrod, and Megan and Jake all decided to stay.

This left Rachael and Thomas in a difficult situation since they had only recently started dating. They sat down for a chat and Thomas told Rachael he felt things had not progressed since their first date and he could not see a future with her beyond paradise.

They said their goodbyes and Thomas left paradise straight away. Rachael took a bit longer to gather herself and broke down in tears, upset over remaining single.

The finale of Bachelor In Paradise continues next week over two big nights. On Sunday night, the couples spend one last day together before deciding their fate at Monday night’s final commitment ceremony. Who will stay together, who will walk away heartbroken and who will make the ultimate commitment and leave as an engaged couple?
