There is a lot of Australians in action tonight at Wimbledon
Bernard Tomic and Sam Stosur will fly the flag for Australia in the first round at Wimbledon tonight.
Tomic has a favourable first round draw as he faces off against world no.100 Russian Evgeny Donskoy, while Stosur is first up on court taking on Belgian Yanina Wickmayer, who she has beaten three times and lost to once. Seven’s coverage will keep viewers up to date with other Aussies in action on Day 1 including Marinko Matosevic, Casey Dellacqua, Sam Groth, Luke Saville, and Jarmila Gajdosova.
Also featuring on Seven’s coverage will be world no. 1 Novak Djokovic against Andrey Golubev and reigning Wimbledon champion Andy Murray battles Belgian David Goffin in their first round matches.
Seven’s broadcast will be hosted by Todd Woodbridge with expert commentary from three-time Wimbledon champion John Newcombe, along with Rennae Stubbs, Sam Smith and Geoff Masters. John McEnroe, Pat Cash, Jimmy Connors, Martina Navratilova and Lindsay Davenport.
