It’s the time we’ve all been waiting for. No, not the finale. The Makeovers! Gone are the days of the glamorous stage reveals and all-reveals-at-the-same-time with The Biggest Loser going the way of Beauty & The Geek and making its contestants win a makeover to begin with. I’m expecting them all to get makeovers in the end but who will get theirs today?
The trainers come visit the remaining contestants in the kitchen/ dining area. Then, all of a sudden, Hayley comes in. She gets them all to go to the weigh in room despite them all just having breakfast.
They are there to find out who is in the running for the title of The Biggest Loser and who needs to move their butt.
Here is how it looks:
GREEN (GERALD & TODD) – 23.37%
ORANGE (ROBYN & KATIE) – 23.30%
GREY (MANDY & BRETT) – 22.24%
PINK (JANET & KIRSTEN) – 20.03%
LIGHT BLUE (RICHARD & AMBER) – 18.62%
RED (SAM & JESS) – 17.31%
This leaves Sam & Jess in last place and Gerald & Todd in first.
With that, Hayley decides to spice things up. Contestants must now ‘choose their trainer’. They will be stuck with that trainer for the rest of the season. There will be two teams per trainer. Gerald and Todd pick first due to their place on the leaderboard. They choose Shannan. Robyn and Katie choose the Commando. Mandy & Brett choose Shannan. Janet & Kirsten choose Michelle. Richard & Amber choose The Commando. Sam & Jess land Michelle but would have chosen her anyway.
They then all begin their first training session with their permanent trainers. Michelle takes her two teams to do some Rock climbing. Kirsten overcomes her fear of heights. Shannan takes his groups to the boxing ring. Gerald has hit rock bottom. He feels homesick and depressed. After the ordeal, he takes Todd into the ring for a one-on-one boxing session!
Commando takes his teams into the sandpit and drives Amber into doing a lot of work!
After a good training session, it’s time for The Fridge. This week, the power will go to the green team, the biggest losers of the competition so far. They take the power for themselves and win a makeover.
They head off to get their makeover which is flaunted to the rest of the contestants later. But we won’t see it until tomorrow!
