Last night Recipe to Riches focused on Main Meals and as usual it looks pretty tasty.
Fashion designer Savva won the category of Mains against “Fabs” Binnie’s The Emperor of Fabulous Highland Ragu and Sarah Walker’s Pulled Pork.
“It means a lot to me that my heirloom recipe has won,” says Savva, 42, from Brisbane. “Mum was an outgoing person and she loved this recipe. She would be so proud to know this is happening to our family’s recipe. I’m hoping all Australians get to try what traditional Greek food tastes like.”
Savva’s product won over the Recipe To Riches experts and his product will be on sale in Woolworths stores from today for one week.
As a category winner, Savva pockets $10,000 and now has the chance to win $100,000 and a business partnership with Woolworths in the Grand Final.
