After 10 very long episodes the winners of The Amazing Race have been crowned.
The final leg saw teams aced from Argentina to Los Angeles then blitzed a sky, land and sea challenge along Victoria’s Great Ocean Road to win $250,000 . Daniel Little and Ryan Thomas manged to beat out Sally Yamamoto and Tyson Smith from Perth who came second and Ashleigh and Jarrod Jende from Melbourne who finished third.
On their win they said “It’s absolutely exhilarating! It’s such a great feeling and also a huge relief to have made it not only this far but also to take out the top spot,”“We have told no one so this is going to be a massive surprise and party for all of our family and friends. Especially our lovely ladies who have no idea that we won! It will be great to finally share the whole experience with them.”
With their $250,000 prize, they said: “We want to help our family and friends who have supported us throughout our lives and journey, and definitely do some more travelling.”
Both runners up were awarded one million Frequent Flyer points from Virgin.
