Writer’s room open for second season of Binge original Strife

After a hugely successful launch, the team behind the critically acclaimed hit series STRIFE, which broke records to become BINGE’s biggest original series premiere of all time, has returned to the writers’ room for season two.

STRIFE has been a massive hit for BINGE across the platform including the biggest ever BINGE Original series launch for first day and first week viewing. 

Produced by award winning production company Made Up Stories (Big Little Lies, Nine Perfect Strangers) in partnership with global film and TV studio FIFTH SEASON, the series tellsthe story of a modern, imperfect woman and publisher named Evelyn Jones (Asher Keddie) and her journey from lounge room blogger to becoming a force in women’s media. 

Set in the dynamic and ever-changing world of publishing, digital media and its origins, the series is inspired by Mia Freedman’s memoir, ‘Work, Strife, Balance, and is written by Australian screenwriter Sarah Scheller (The Letdown). 

STRIFE stars acclaimed Australian actress Asher Keddie (Nine Perfect StrangersOffspring) alongside an ensemble of established and up-and-coming talent including Matt Day, Jonathan LaPaglia, Tina Bursill, Emma Lung, Alex Dimitriades, Maria Angelico, Rhys Mitchell, Olivia Junkeer, BeBe Bettencourt, Bryony Skillington, Lucy Ansell, Darcy Tadich, Lincoln Younes and Willow Speers, with season one directed by Stuart Bowen.
