After a long search Australia’s Greatest Boagn has been found.
After an epic Grand Final showdown of beer sculling, thongin’ and pole dancing, Bogan Hunters Pauly Fenech, Shazza Jones and Kev the Kiwi have tonight crowned Australia’s Greatest Bogan.
Tassie mates Darren Williams and Andrew Elkins were both awarded the title of Australia’s Greatest Bogan from celebrity judges Angry Anderson, Jonesy, Miss Nude Australia, Tahir Bilgic, Jacko, Chris Franklin, Derek Boyer and Rob Shehadie.
The besties from Bridgewater displayed equally impressive form in bogan appearance, attitude and sex appeal and get to take home the Aussie Pride ‘Straya ute with kegs in the back.
Victoria’s larger-than-life GILF, Nanna Shazza, was awarded the Golden Thong Award for Best Bogan Female.
“I’ve got no teeth, I’m a Collingwood supporter, I’m a nan and I don’t give a f**k what anybody says,” she said when trying to convince the judges she should win – and they agreed, with Miss Nude Australia commenting Shaz was “bogan personified.”
The competition’s youngest contender, Justin Gilbert from St Helens, Tasmania, was overall points champion on the night and also received a Golden Thong Award. The amateur tattoo artist and self-proclaimed “true houso” was lauded for his sensational chick magnet mullet which he described as “business at the front and party at the back.”
In next week’s season final, Pauly brings on celebrity stylist Henry Roth to help him with an experiment. What happens when you makeover a bogan? Would they lose their “boganicity”? Can you take the bogan out of a bogan? Could this be a bogan Cinderella story?
