In the penultimate episode of the season, two ejections took place.
A wave of melancholy rolled over the final morning at camp, as the magnitude of the experience sunk in for the top nine. Before long, hosts Julia Morris and Dr. Chris brought our celebrities back to reality with the announcement of an all-in slip-n-slide Spin Cycle trial.
When we said all-in, that included Dr. Chris, who heroically saved the day with a six-star effort, after the worn-out celebrities only managed to get their hands on three stars. Back at camp, a last hurrah BBQ blow-out was met with excited hysteria, because there’s simply nothing a snag can’t fix.
To secure their spot in the top seven, the celebrities were required to calculate 100 seconds inside the detonation station. In a surprising turn of events, elimination king Ash was the closest to the target, but it wasn’t good news for Dipper, Adam and Abbie.
Fighting for their chance to make it through to the grand finale, the trio had to guess how many snakes were standing by to take a swipe at them. Abbie’s first brush with the Hell Hole Of Destiny was a baptism of fire, with one snake latching on to her hand, which in some countries may be classified as good luck given she guessed closest to the correct figure.
Dipper and Adam depart I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! knowing they were a vital part of the jungle fabric.
Delightful Dipper will long be remembered for his impromptu probing talk shows and D&Ms, his groovy dancing and infectious laugh, for breaking a food trial world record and for not being afraid to address generational differences.
Celebrity physio Adam rubbed the campmates the right way, proving that his charm and endearing energy was too inviting for the tightknit campmates to resist.
