– Stan today announced that after the explosive season finale aired this morning, bomb disposal thriller series Trigger Point has been renewed for a second season.
In this high-octane six-part thriller, Vicky McClure (Line of Duty) and Adrian Lester (Life) play bomb disposal operatives known as ‘Expos’. Together, they turn the spotlight on counter terrorism policing and the extraordinary work of the Metropolitan Police Bomb Disposal Squad. Lana Washington (Vicky McClure) and Joel Nutkins (Adrian Lester) put their lives on the frontline when a terrorist campaign threatens London over the summer, and are tasked with finding out who is behind the bombings before fatalities escalate.
Executive produced by Jed Mercurio (Line of Duty, Bodyguard) and written by Daniel Brierley, the cast also includes Mark Stanley (Anne Boleyn) as DI Thom Youngblood, Warren Brown (Luther) as Karl Maguire, Kerry Godliman (After Life) as Sonya Reeves, Cal MacAninch (Des) as Lee Robins SCO19, Manjinder Virk (Midsomer Murders) as Samira Desai SO15, and Ralph Ineson (The Capture) as Commander Bregman.
Trigger Point will return exclusively to Stan.
