The Voice Sets May Return

The Voice Sets May Return

Australia’s entertainment sensation, The Voice, returns for its biggest, boldest and most controversial season yet later this month.

For the very first time, all four superstar Coaches from the previous season – Delta Goodrem, Boy George, Kelly Rowland and Guy Sebastian – are back by popular demand, more competitive than ever, and eager to turn one highly talented artist into The Voice of Australia, winning a coveted recording contract with EMI Music along with $100,000 in prizemoney.

This season, The Voice will have a dynamic new hosting duo, Darren McMullen and Renee Bargh.

McMullen returns to the show after hosting the first four seasons of The Voice Australia, as well as The Voice Kids.

Bargh is a newcomer to The Voice family. An Australian native, she spent the past decade rubbing shoulders with the biggest stars in the world on the Emmy Award-winning US entertainment show, EXTRA.

After proving to be a winner with fans last season, new All-Stars are back, with some of the most incredible voices returning from previous seasons of The Voice.

In 2020, the level of talent promises to be the highest in the history of the show: including an international winner of The Voice, a winner of Australian Idol, and the youngest artist to ever audition in the global history of the entertainment blockbuster.

This season will also feature dramatic innovations such as the Block, to raise the competitiveness to a new level. During the Blind Auditions, each Coach will be allowed two Blocks which will deny the other Coaches the chance to pitch for the amazing voices they hear.

Other innovations include the introduction of The Playoffs and Showdowns throughout the season. More details on these exciting new rounds will be revealed soon.

Fans can look forward to some of the most unique voices ever to grace The Voice stage, and some of the most heartfelt, jaw-dropping and controversial moments in the nine-year history of the show.

It all has to be to be seen and heard to be believed when The Voice returns: Sunday, May 24, at 7.00pm on Nine and 9Now.
