Bianka Jakovljevic, 16, Sydney NSW – she’s a Year 11 student and the youngest artist on this season.

Melanie C: “You’re going to go far kid.” **Melanie goes on stage to give Bianka a hug after her performance.
Richard: “Bianka that was so mind blowing. The last thing I imagined seeing when I turned around was this little iddy biddy you because your voice is so mature and so powerful.”
Kate: “You absolutely wiped the floor with that performance.”

Charlie O’Derry, 17, Port Macquarie, NSW – Year 12 student, works part-time in a local Thai restaurant to help support his family.

Coaches comments:
Ronan: “I felt all of that. That was beautiful.” **Ronan went on stage to give him a hug.
Kate: “That was breathtaking. You just made me feel something that I’ve never felt in this chair before.”
Richard: “I believed you from the minute you started singing. It’s absolutely heartbreakingly beautiful.”
Melanie: “That was so moving and touching, and I think everybody in the room felt it.”

Amber Scates, 25, Melbourne VIC – She’s a performing artist and a singing aerialist

Kate: “That was just so joyful, I could not stop laughing.”
Melanie: “What was so wonderful about that performance – you were so physical, but you didn’t drop a note. You know the energy didn’t drop, it was incredible, I was so impressed.”

Brenton Kneen, 33, Cooroibah, QLD – He quit his job four years ago to make music and follow his heart. He taught himself to sing like he talks (in true-blue Aussie accent).

Kate: “You’ve got a powerhouse voice. It was just full of joy, full of spark, you’re your own artist.”
Richard: “You have incredible range, you’ve got great breath control, you can kind of do it all. You’re a real fierce competitor in this competition.”
Ronan: “You’re the reason I came to Australia. I came on this show to find somebody like you, you’ve got it all.”

Cassie Henderson, 26, Christchurch NZ – got her first guitar when she was eight years old. When she was 14, she auditioned for another singing competition and experienced quite a bit of backlash online and it shook her confidence. She stepped away from music for a really long time after that.

Ronan: “It felt like you were already established as an artist, and you were coming to perform your new single here on The Voice. That’s what that felt like.”
Kate: “That was absolutely fantastic.”
Melanie: “You are born to do this, you just own that stage, it’s so natural to you.”
Richard: “You’re a star, you’re absolutely a star. The way – the way you performed and the head snap and – and your poise and your command.”
