Australian star Nick Kyrgios, defending US Open champion Naomi Osaka and legend Andy Murray headline a bumper opening day of tennis from the 2021 US Open, live on ESPN.
 
ESPN’s 2021 US Open coverage begins on Tuesday August 31, with a smorgasbord of tennis action live from Flushing Meadows in New York.
 
The feature match of the opening day is the Men’s singles clash between 18th seed Roberto Bautista Agut and Australia’s Nick Kyrgios at approximately 10.15am AEST live on ESPN.
 
ESPN will have whip around coverage from across the tournament, bringing the most thrilling action from all courts, live and exclusive.
 
Whilst Kyrgios will be the attraction for local fans on day one, Andy Murray also faces a tricky opening match against third seed Stefanos Tsitsipas.
 
The Murray-Tsitsipas showdown begins at 3.15am AEST
 
Defending US Open champion Naomi Osaka is also in action on the opening day, as the Japanese star begins her campaign against Marie Bouzkova.
 
Osaka-Bouzkova first round singles match begins at 9.15am AEST on ESPN.
 
The Kyrgios-Agut showdown is just one of a host of matches including local hopes on the opening day of the tournament.
