The Undoing comes to Fox Showcase In May

The highly anticipated six-part psychological thriller The Undoing, starring Academy Award-winner Nicole Kidman and Emmy-nominee Hugh Grant, premieres on Fox Showcase in May

Kidman, also an executive producer, joins forces with Emmy, Golden Globe and Academy Award-winning director Susanne Bier and reunites with Emmy-winning Big Littles Lies creator David E. Kelley for the HBO six-part limited series.

The Undoing follows Grace Fraser (Kidman), a successful New York City therapist, and her husband Jonathan (Grant) who are living the only lives they ever wanted for themselves. Overnight, a chasm opens in their lives: a violent death, a missing spouse and a chain of terrible revelations. Left behind in the wake of a spreading and very public disaster and horrified by the ways in which she has failed to heed her own advice, Grace must dismantle one life and create another for her child and her family.

“David has created another propulsive series with a fascinating, complicated female role at its centre,“ said Kidman.

Joining Kidman and Grant on screen are Edgar Ramirez (The Assassination of Gianni Versace)Ismael Cruz Cordova (Mary Queen of Scots), Matilda De Angelis (Il Premio), Lily Rabe (American Horror Story), Noma Dumezweni (Mary Poppins Returns), Noah Jupe (A Quiet Place 2) as Henry Fraser, Jonathan and Grace’s 12-year-old son and Donald Sutherland (The Hunger Games) as Grace’s protective father.

Based on The New York Times bestselling novel You Should Have Known by Jean Hanff Korelitz, The Undoing is directed by Susanne Bier and created and written for television by David E. Kelley, who also serves as showrunner. The series is executive produced by Nicole Kidman and Per Saari through Blossom Films, Susanne Bier, David E. Kelley through David E. Kelley Productions, Bruna Papandrea through Made Up Stories, Stephen Garrett and Celia Costas.

The Undoing is an HBO series and is exclusive in Australia to Foxtel. New episodes of the 6 x 60-minute series will premiere at the same time as the US on Mondays from May 11 AEST, with a primetime encore each Monday at 8.30pm AEST.
