It was the cliffhanger that made the weekend unbearable ahead of the final Neighbours episodes.
In a worrying new storyline, Remi (Naomi Rukavina) and Cara (Sara West) panic when they realise that JJ (Riley Bryant) hasn’t been in touch all day and nobody has seen him. This doesn’t bode well, especially after Elle (Elise Jansen) found a taunting message that had been left outside reading “Where is JJ?”.
Remi and Cara immediately suspect that their son has been abducted by Eric Linwell (Brett Archer), who has a motive for revenge after the family’s dodging dealings were recently discovered.
With everyone on high alert, the Varga-Murphy and Rodwell families unite to lead the search for JJ. Is the show ending with a death, or will JJ be found before harm is done?
Meanwhile Clint (Jason Widler) is putting on a brave face while trying to support daughter Addisson (Florence Gladwin), who has decided to move back in with her mother.
Lisa Maroun opens finale week with a focus on the revival’s most popular characters, with excellent performances from Sara and Naomi as the Linwell saga finally reaches a close.
