Tonight on The Project, we take a look at Beyond Blue’s latest campaign tackling anxiety. We will cross to Beyond Blue Chairman, Jeff Kennett, to discuss what’s been done to raise awareness about the disorder which affects 15% of the Australian population.
Sandra Sully is our guest panellist on Tuesday night and we will look at a new proposal from Sydney’s Lane Cove Council charging professional dog walkers up to $450 for a permit to use its local parks.
On Wednesday night, celebrity chef Curtis Stone joins us as our guest panellist. Curtis is in Australia to talk about his latest book, What’s For Dinner?.Carrie Bickmore meets cancer battler Tyler Fishlock and his mother, Georgette. Having lost both eyes to cancer, in 2006 Tyler was free of cancer. Despite dealing with trauma and sadness, Tyler has embraced a life without sight. Now aged 10, Tyler faces the news that no cancer survivor wants to hear: the cancer has returned.
Kerri-Anne Kennerley and funny man Pete Helliar join us on Thursday night. We’ll cross to our UK correspondent Lucy McDonald with all the latest news from London and Hyla sits down with Ryan Gosling, Eva Mendes and Bradley Cooper to talk about their latest film, The Place Beyond The Pines.
On Friday night for the first time in The Project’s history, we have an all-female panel to celebrate Mother’s Day. Joining Carrie at the desk will be Nicole Livingstone, Amanda Keller and Natasha Stott Despoja. Our panel of mums discuss what it takes to be a good mum and the issues facing mothers around the country.
