Today Neighbours provides some much-needed answers on key storylines.
When we left last week, Holly (Lucinda Armstrong Hall) went digging into Andrew’s (Lloyd Will) biological family to see whether the claims that his father was a bad person were true. But her discovery doesn’t match with what Wendy (Candice Leask) was told a few weeks ago by his sister Gretchen (Amelia Bishop) after the death of Andrew’s mother.
When we return today, Andrew and Holly have arrived at Sandy Point and it doesn’t take them long to track down Gretchen and Steven (Mick Preston). Will this be the reunion Andrew expects, or is there more heartache ahead for Ramsay Street’s favourite cop.
Elsewhere, Karl (Alan Fletcher) is struggling to engage with visitors at the hospital as he sits in contemplation of what he’s endured at the hands of his own nephew Darcy (Mark Rafferty). Meanwhile Jane (Annie Jones) needs answers of her own regarding her mother’s death, and Darcy grants her a visit. Will Darcy finally do something good and give Jane to closure she needs, and just what happened on the clifftop that fateful day? And could Karl also benefit from the closure of seeing Darcy in person?
Executive Producer Jason Herbison gets to pen an instalment the provides answers for multiple residents, with some truly moving work from Annie Jones, while also expanding on a popular character’s family history that we hopefully haven’t seen the last of yet.
Neighbours airs Monday-Thursday at 4:00pm on 10, with episodes repeated at 6:30pm on 10Peach Comedy.
