RENOVATION WITH BARRY DUBOIS: TAKE HOME BAZ: PAULA AND MIKE
Taking Baz home tonight are Queensland couple Paula and Mike. Mike is handy enough to start a lot of jobs, just not handy enough to finish them. Their beloved Queenslander home has become a ‘house of horrors’ with broken glass and an unfinished shed gathering cobwebs out the back. Can a few simple demonstrations on skirting, architraves and replacing glass give them the inspiration they need to get the house back in order?
TRAVEL WITH CHRIS BROWN: KANGAROO ISLANDLEAFY SEA DRAGON
Chris is on Kangaroo Island to hunt down the elusive and stunning leafy sea dragon. The only place to find these incredible creatures is in Australia’s southern waters, but they don’t really want to be found. There’s only one way to track them, meaning it’s time for Chris to don a wetsuit and jump right in.
FOOD WITH MIGUEL MAESTRE: BIGGEST MORNING TEA
As ambassadors for the Cancer Council’s Biggest Morning Tea, Miguel and Barry head to Melbourne, teaming up to create some fantastic morning tea recipes. The pressure is on to cater for 20 hungry guests, and with recipes including a cheats ham and cheese croissant, prawn rolls and the world’s simplest recipe for rich, moist orange cake, the lads take on the challenge with surprising results.
WHOSE HOUSE WITH AMANDA KELLER: SUSIE MARONEY
Amanda drops in on swimming legend Susie Maroney. There aren’t many Aussies that have a happy snap with Cuban revolutionary Fidel Castro on their living room wall, but Susie’s amazing marathon swimming career has exposed her to some incredible people and places. She was the first person in the world to swim the 177 kilometre distance from Cuba to the United States, a feat which took her over 40 hours. She reminisces with Amanda on her great career in the water plus she gives an insight into life after swimming.
