It’s just over 24 hours until the next room reveal and all our contestants are working hard at getting their bathrooms ready.
Taz in House No.3 is putting spotfires out all afternoon as things continue to go wrong.
It will be the battle of the baths this year, with Sonny and Alicia and Han and Can both installing amazing and unique baths.
Han has had a tough week after going to hospital as she was sick. But she is back on the tools and admits herself she is a control freak.
Alicia is spiralling at the smallest things, this time at Foreman Dan who has a crack at their painting.
It’s down to the wire but all the couples manage to finish their guest bathroom and our judges arrive.
HOUSE ONE EMMA AND BEN So much positive feedback for Em and Ben’s bathroom. The tile choice they absolutely loved, they thought it was very Daylesford. The judges thought their room was bold but not tacky. Shyanna thinks Em and Ben are the front runners in the competition so far.

HOUSE TWO HAN AND CAN
All attention was on the see through bath, which was bold and different according to the judges. They loved it. The judges thought the colour scheme was very impressive. Considering the week the girls had with Han being sick, they delivered an amazing bathroom.

HOUSE THREE BRITT AND TAZ
Marty thought the room looked like an “upmarket abattoir,” which thankfully Britt and Taz laughed at. There were issues with the shape of the archway and the shower screen in the bathroom. The shower screen was arched and the door was square. Marty thought it wasn’t great.

HOUSE FOUR SONNY AND ALICIA
While the judges thought the bathroom would appeal to buyers, they did think the layout choices of Sonny and Alicia were all over the place. One side of the bathroom there was minimal styling that the judges thought didn’t work. Sonny and Alicia changed their layout that they think will make sense once the main bedroom and walk in robe will be revealed. It wasn’t all bad news for the couple from the Gold Coast. They took out the $10,000 Commonwealth Bank award again.

HOUSE FIVE ROBBY AND MAT
Another very impressive effort from Robby and Mat. The judges loved the tile choice. The styling was on point. There wasn’t much wrong with this bathroom.

Han and Can used their gnome to take out the win. If they didn’t use it, they would have tied for the win for Em and Ben. For Em and Ben, it’s second place again.
