Yesterday The Block went up for auction and it’s apparently a close one.
Season seven of Channel Nine’s reality show is set in a Park Street apartment block, and appropriately, it was in the adjacent park where the opening segment was filmed.
On a makeshift stage, host Scott Cam introduced the five competing couples to loud clapping and cheers and reminded the crowd it was the “biggest ever series of The Block”.
After the introduction was filmed bidders headed off to their chosen apartments and bidding began. Also of note according to Property Observer a $4000 hammer price difference will have many viewers on the edge of their couches
