There were tears and heart break as The Biggest Loser lost two competition favorites.
Day two of Super Challenge week proved too challenging for Big Kev tonight: he was eliminated on the spot after crossing the finish line last in a series of gruelling challenges. It was a devastating result for the heaviest contestant in the competition – Kevin Moore who left the competition having lost over 18 kilograms.
Kevin says: “I was disappointed that I came last because I didn’t want to finish on that note.”“The Biggest Loser gave me the kickstart I needed and certainly helped me change my life. I’m looking forward towards getting married, having a family and travelling,” he said.
The shock eliminations didn’t stop there as there was still another weigh-in to determine this week’s Biggest Loser – and there can’t be a weigh-in without an elimination.
With contestant Kerry winning immunity as the winner of the Super Challenge and fellow contestant Katrina finally choosing to play her immunity braclet, this weigh-in was always going to be close.
In the end, it was Sharon and Jane who found themselves below the yellow line, their plans for an all-girl “awesome foursome” finale coming to an end. And for Jane it was to be her final weigh-in, as her fellow contestants decided her fate and eliminated her from the competition.
Jane leaves the competition over 26 kilograms lighter. “When I stared this I wasn’t really living a life. I didn’t realise I was going to come here and find myself,” she said.
“I know I’ve still got a long way to go but I’m extremely proud of what I’ve achieved. I’ve learnt that I’m a lot stronger than I thought I was and can’t wait to go back to Ararat and show everyone what you can achieve when you put your mind to it.”
