As Toadie (Ryan Moloney) and Melanie (Lucinda Cowden) grappled with their night of passion during Lassiters’ Longest Lie-In, the pair had little time to keep the secret a secret after Krista’s (Majella Davis) walkie-talkie solution inadvertently exposed everything!
When we pick up today, Terese (Rebekah Elmaloglou) is clearly in shock over the news that, once again, one of her husbands has cheated on her with his ex. Hurrying home, she texts her own ex Paul (Stefan Dennis) that she needs him, much like he did in the aftermath of David’s death.
Meanwhile Mackenzie (Georgie Stone) questions a deeply ashamed Toadie about what happened, and Melanie is hopeful that a resolution is on the cards.
As Paul supports Terese, and everyone deals with the consequences of their actions, is Melanie about to get what she’s been wanting since her return to Erinsborough?
Elsewhere, Aaron (Matt Wilson) has avoided the Lie-In, and his ongoing conflict with co-parent Nicolette (Hannah Monson), choosing instead to finally spend time with Isla (Hana Abe-Tucker).
The big four in this episode deliver spectacular work with Emma J. Steele’s script, which delivers on the aftermath while also balancing some lighter Lie-In plot. Fans won’t want to miss a single second.
