In what can be considered a smart move Ten has changed the timeslot of it’s 50 Years Young special
Due to Screen 7:30 Friday August 8 it The show has been given an upgraude to air at 6:30 PM this Sunday night.
Ten turns 50 this year and to celebrate, The Project’s Carrie Bickmore and Peter Helliar will be counting down some of our iconic and most-loved Australian television shows from the past five decades.
50 Years Young includes a galaxy of television stars, including Dr Chris Brown, Sandra Sully, Johnny Young, Chrissie Swan, Denise Drysdale, Claudia Karvan, Ryan “Fitzy” Fitzgerald, Samuel Johnson, Osher Günsberg, Jennifer Hansen, Steve Vizard, Dave Hughes, Bruce Mansfield, Terence Donovan, Ian “Dicko” Dickson, Toni Pearen, Ed Phillips, the cast of Neighbours and many more.
Which Australian favourite will make the list? Will it be Number 96, Prisoner, The Secret Life Of Us, MasterChef Australia or Rove Live that takes out the number one spot.
Putting this special up against The X Factor and The Block’s first room reveal is risky but hopefully it pays off.
50 Years Young airs 6:30 PM Sunday on Ten.
