Ten Confirms 24 Legacy for February

Ten has revealed the launch date of 24 Legacy for February 12

This will put Australia just six days behind the US.

Set in Washington DC, the next chapter in the ground-breaking television series 24 centres on a new heroic character, Sergeant Eric Carter, played by newcomer Corey Hawkins (The Walking Dead).

Six months ago in Yemen, an elite squad of US Army Rangers led by Sergeant Carter killed terrorist leader Sheik Ibrahim Bin-Khalid. In the aftermath, Bin-Khalid’s followers declared they would seek revenge on Carter, his squad and their families, forcing them into federal witness protection. But a recent attempt on Carter’s life makes it clear to him that his identity has been exposed.

To thwart further attacks, Carter enlists Intelligence Officer Rebecca Ingram (Miranda Otto), who has stepped down from her post to support her husband, Senator John Donovan (Jimmy Smits), who is running for President. Together, Carter and Ingram uncover a sophisticated network that will force them to ask “Who can we trust?” as they battle the terrorists.

24: Legacy retains the same real-time format that is the hallmark of this genre-defining series. It chronicles an adrenaline-fuelled race against the clock to stop a devastating terrorist attack on US soil.

24: Legacy. Premieres Sunday, 12 February At 8.30pm on Ten.
