Ten commissions I’m A Celebrity Get Me  Get Me Out Of Here!

Ten continue to make 2015  announcements in the right direction.

Yesterday it was announced that Ten had commissioned a local version of the UK smash I’m A Celebrity Get Me  Get Me Out Of Here!.

he new series promises to be one of the biggest and most exciting live reality television events of 2015, as Australian celebrities are dropped into the African jungle with little more than their wits, strength and willpower to survive the competition.

Our celebrities will leave their beautiful homes, families and luxuries behind. How will they cope with African wildlife, a constant series of challenges and tests, basic rations and their fellow campmates?

Who will survive the infamous Bush Tucker Trials? Who will win the hearts of viewers and be  crowned King or Queen of the Jungle?

Australians will cheer, cringe and laugh along, as they vote to decide what challenges the celebrities will face, who takes part in the Bush Tucker Trials and who will be forced to shout “I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!”

Network Ten Chief Programming Officer, Beverley McGarvey, said: “I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! is a big, noisy and spectacular show for all the family and an incredible live reality television event.

“It will be a massive production, set in an amazing location in Africa. We cannot wait to get ou celebrities in the jungle.

“I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! is a smash hit in the UK, where its most recent season launched with 13.5 million viewers, making it the UK’s most watched entertainment show,” she said.

“We are very excited to be bringing I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! to Australians and we know Australians will be excited to have their own version of one of the funniest, most engaging and most interactive television shows in the world.”

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! will be produced for Network Ten by ITV Studios Australia. The format is distributed by ITV Studios Global Entertainment. ITV Studios Australia Managing Director, Anita Jacoby, said: “Network Ten is backing an international success story with I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!.

“After 13 huge seasons in the UK and eight massive seasons in Germany – and with both countries now gearing up for their next series – I’m a Celebrity is one of the longest-running, biggest and most successful formats in the world,” she said.

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! Will require a decent bunch of interesting celebrities to succeed  when it preimeres in 2015.
