As the return of the highly anticipated smash-hit series gets closer, the sharp-tongued Roy family is back in the official trailer for the third season of Succession.
Tensions continue to rise within the warring Roy dynasty, with rebellious son Kendall stepping up his battle for control of the family-run media empire, while new cast members Alexander Skarsgard and Adrien Brody are also seen for the first time, set to play key roles in the impending Roy family showdown.
The award-winning drama series, whose second season won a total of seven Emmy Awards including Outstanding Drama Series, will premiere this nine-episode new season, following on from a compelling season two finale. Ambushed by his son Kendall at the end of season two, Logan Roy begins season three in a perilous position. Scrambling to secure familial, political and financial alliances, tensions rise as a bitter corporate battle threatens to turn into a family civil war.
Set in New York, the bitingly funny drama series Succession explores themes of power, politics, money, and family, centred around the Roy family and their family-controlled media conglomerate.
Season three features regular cast members including Brian Cox, Jeremy Strong, Sarah Snook, Kieran Culkin, Alan Ruck, Nicholas Braun, Matthew Macfadyen and Peter Friedman. New additions to the cast for season three include Adrien Brody, Alexander Skarsgård and Hope Davis
