Tonight’s the night Neighbours fans have been dreading as Steph says farewell to Ramsay Street once again.
Since she returned as a full time regular in late 2015, Steph Scully (Carla Bonner) has always wanted to reunite with her children, Charlie Hoyland (Alexander McGuire) and Adam Fitzgerald (Archie Campbell). Steph announced her plans to move to Sydney a few weeks ago.
As we enter the episode, Steph is all packed and ready to go- however, she hasn’t said farewell to Toadie (Ryan Maloney). She’s afraid he’s avoiding her after he decided to draft a letter to Max that got forwarded on to him and almost resulted in her losing Charlie, unaware he’s planning one last surprise before she departs the street. Steph is the main focal point of this episode with the audience being treated to farewell scenes with Sonya (Eve Morey) and Mark (Scott McGregor) as the character’s journey is brought to a satisfying conclusion. One thing is for sure- fans will need every ounce of emotional strength to make it through this fitting departure for a Neighbours legend whose absence will be felt in the weeks to come.
