My Kitchen Rules has found its Grand Finalists after the second semi final last night.
Stella and Jazzey faced Alex and Emily for the last spot in the Grand Final. Both teams had to cook a three course meal, with 90mins for entrée, 60mins for main and 30mins for dessert. Judges Pete and Manu were joined by Colin Fassnidge and guest judges Karen Martini, Guy Grossi and Liz Egan to taste and score each team’s entire menu out of 10.
The girls plated up a menu of Entrée: Smoked Moreton Bay Bugs with Onion Purée and Radish Main: Herb Salmon with Eggplant Purée and Couscous and a Dessert: Dulce De Leche Ice Cream with Popcorn. Alex and Emily dished up Entrée: Prawn & Pork Toast with Lemon & Chilli Mayo and Nuoc Cham Main: Mussels & Pippies with Nahm Prik Pao Dessert: Mango Sorbet with Yoghurt Parfait and Macadamia Crumble.
When all was said and done Alex and Emily advanced to the grand final with a score 53 compared to the girls 37..
