Stan’s ‘Ramy’ Renewed For Season 3

Stan today announced its multi-award-winning comedy-drama series Ramy has been renewed for a third season.

Created by and starring comedian Ramy Youssef, who received his first ever Golden Globe Award last year for his lead performance in the hit series, Ramy offers an insightful and hilarious glimpse into the life of a first generation Egyptian-American Muslim living in a politically-divided New Jersey neighbourhood. Throughout the dramedy, Ramy finds himself on a spiritual journey to understand what it means to be a good person – which is no small task when you’re being pulled between traditional Muslim teachings which state that life is a constant test, friends who think life is full of endless possibilities, and a God who’s always watching.

Two-time Academy Award winner Mahershala Ali (Green BookMoonlight) featured in the comedy’s second season, with the series also starring Hiam Abbass, Amr Waked, Laith Nakli, May Calamawy, Dave Merheje, Mohammed Amer and Steve Way.
