Stan will now be the home of Search Party later this month.
A breakout hit with critics, Search Party is about a group of four privileged, self-absorbed twenty-somethings who unwittingly become involved in a death and are forced to cover it up. The series stars Alia Shawkat (Arrested Development) who is also a producer on the series, John Reynolds (Stranger Things), Meredith Hagner (Younger), John Early (Bad Neighbours 2) and Brandon Micheal Hall (God Friended Me). Guest stars include Ron Livingston (Sex and the City), Christine Taylor (Zoolander), Rosie Perez (White Men Can’t Jump) and more.
In season three the gang are swept up in the trial of the century after Dory (Shawkat) and Drew (Reynolds) are charged for the semi-accidental murder of a private investigator. As Elliott (Early) and Portia (Hagner) grapple with whether or not to testify as witnesses, the friends are pitted against each other and thrust into the national spotlight as notorious public figures. As Dory’s sanity begins to fracture, it becomes increasingly clear that they may not have brunch together for quite some time.
Search Party is created and executive-produced by Sarah-Violet Bliss, Charles Rogers and Michael Showalter with Jax Media’s Lilly Burns and Tony Hernandez also serving as executive producers.
A fourth season for Search Party has also already been announced, so look out for more crazy crime capers from the crew soon.
Search Party seasons 1 to 3 will stream 24 July only on Stan.
