Seven presents the Australian television premiere of Tina Arena: Unravel Me

The Seven Network is proud to present the Australian television premiere of Tina Arena: Unravel Me – an intimate, cinematic portrait of one of Australia’s most enduring and enigmatic artists – next Sunday,

For 50 years, Italian Australian pop icon Tina Arena has devoted her life to music. Her tenacity, Sicilian passion and fierce resilience have carried her through extraordinary career highs and devastating lows.

From industry rejection, Tina rose to history-making success with her second album, fell again, then rose once more in France. The unstoppable Tina Arena has now released 25 albums and sold more than eight million records worldwide.

Told through two interwoven lenses – Tina the icon and Tina the woman – this landmark documentary peels back five decades of fame to reveal the dualities that have defined her life and the new revelations that have remained untold until now.

Featuring original material shot in Australia, France, the United States and London, feature interviews with notable contributors internationally, and a rich tapestry of archival footage, still photography, personal home videos, music videos and live performances, this is Tina’s story, in her own words.

Tina Arena: Unravel Me is a Helium Pictures production from acclaimed director and Wonnarua man Adrian Russell Wills (Black Divaz), executive producer Mark Fennessy (Mystify: Michael Hutchence) and writer/producer Jessica Carrera (Paper Dolls). Principal production funding from Screen Australia. Post-produced in New South Wales and financed in association with Screen NSW. Financed in association with Seven Network and The Post Lounge.

Tina Arena: Unravel Me Premieres 7.00pm Sunday, 18 October on Seven and 7plus
