Ten’s much anticipated drama Secrets and Lies is still a few weeks away but the hunt for the truth has begun.
The innovative six-part series Secrets & Lies is more than a traditional television drama. In a first for the Australian television industry, the story unfolds across television, online and social media. Secrets & Lies tells the story of Ben Gundelach (Martin Henderson), an everyday family man who finds the body of a young boy and quickly becomes the prime murder suspect. As Ben’s world falls apart, viewers will follow his journey as he embarks on a relentless mission to clear his name. In doing so, the secrets and lies that hide behind the picket fences of a typical suburban street begin to unravel.
Through tenplay, viewers can now immerse themselves in the police investigation led by Detective Ian Cornielle (Anthony Hayes), with access to key storylines and suspects, a series of lie detector videos, exclusive webisodes and new clues each week.
The second-screen app zeebox will enhance the interactive experience further, offering the chance to engage with the series in real time, with exclusive scenes and extra clues to help solve the mystery.
Network Ten’s Head of Drama, Rick Maier, said: “This major event series take us into a whole new world of audience engagement.
