Scorpion for Sundays on Ten

Scorpion for Sundays on Ten

Ten has finally announced the slot for one of the most anticipated new shows Scorpion.

Scorpion has a tough challenge ahead given it will be against the last few weeks of The Block and The X Factor but here’s hoping it pulls an audience. Ten will also screen the show just four days after it’s US  premiere

Based on a true story, Scorpion is a high-octane drama about eccentric genius Walter O’Brien (Elyes Gabel) and his team of brilliant misfits who comprise the last line of defence against high-tech threats of the modern age.

At the age of seven, Walter managed to hack into NASA under the alias “Scorpion”. Fast-forward a couple decades and Walter and his team of tech-head geeks are living in Los Angeles, trying to make ends meet. But that all changes when the US Department of Homeland Security faces a national crisis and Walter’s team is their only chance of survival.

But while this group of geniuses is comfortable with each other’s humour and quirks, life outside their circle confounds them, so they rely on Paige (Katharine McPhee), who has a young, gifted son of her own, to translate the world for them.

Scorpion will premiere 6:30 PM Sunday on Ten.
