As the year draws to a close, it’s time for the annual ‘Top 5 New TV Shows’ list.
It’s been a big year for new TV shows, as the networks try to keep audiences from the rising popularity of streaming services like Netflix and Stan.
To make things super easy, to earn a spot on the list, the first episode must have aired on FTA or Foxtel in 2015.

4 Empire (Season 1) Ten)
5 I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here (Ten)
Honourable mentions must go to; How To Get Away with Murder (Seven), Deadline Gallipoli (Foxtel), Shark Tank (Ten), Ballers (Foxtel), Peter Allen: Not The Boy Next Door (Seven), and Glitch (ABC)
Streaming services were also unleashed this year also, with the top 5 going to:
1 Mr Robot (Presto)
2 Unreal (Stan)
3 Transparent (Stan)
4 Marvel’s Daredevil and Jessica Jones (Netflix)
5 Grace and Frankie (Netflix)
Better Call Saul (Stan) just misses out on making the list but is well worth your time over Summer to check out.
