Romance Blooms And Love Triangles Loom as Paradise begins

Romance Blooms And Love Triangles Loom as Paradise begins

They may have left The Bachelor Australia and The Bachelorette Australia mansions broken-hearted, but some of our favorites are back for a second shot at love.

First to arrive on the island was bubbly blonde beauty Shannon Baff, best known for scoring the first date but not the first kiss with last season’s Bachelor Nick Cummins. While she was happy to have escaped the Honey Badger all together, she was excited for an equal ratio of men and women in Paradise.

Next to step out into the sun was Bill Goldsmith, best known for introducing his ex-girlfriend to last season’s Bachelorette Ali Oetjen. Let’s hope there’s more boat shoes then skeletons in his closet this time around.

Following Bill’s arrival was fan favourite Brooke Blurton, best known for walking out on Nick Cummins right before the top three rose ceremony. Hoping for a little female fun in the sun, Brooke was hoping to bump into openly bisexual beauties Megan Marx or Alex Nation.

Personal trainer Paddy Colliar took the Paradise count to four, telling the camera he was eager to “do what Paddy does best…tune women!” Following Paddy was reality television’s ultimate hopeless romantic Cass Wood, and the adorable James Trethewise, who failed to win the heart of Sophie Monk but won the affection of Australia.

Controversial feather ruffler Cat Henesey-Smith has traded her love for Bali for a stint in the South Pacific, with the hope of finding love.

Conga line enthusiast Brittney Weldon’s arrival gave a glimpse of a potential paring, with the highly-energised Brisbanite lusting over Bill’s salt and pepper locks.

Naughty Nathan Favro arrived into Paradise next, keen to show a different side to his personality after an unceremonious outing on Ali’s season. Alex Bordyukov from the 13th season of the American franchise followed Nathan, setting tongues wagging over his bronzed and buff physique.

Rachael Gouvignon arrived keen to give Paradise a second go, after failing to find romance last season. While her arrival got the younger boys hot under their Hawaiian shirt collar, Rachael announced she was not looking for a toy boy, and she set her eyes on Bill.

James and Shannon established a connection early on while Paddy found Brittney’s energy a bit too much.

The last girl to arrive on the island was Alisha Aitken-Radburn, who emerged as the commentator on the last season of The Bachelor Australia. Hoping to get some action instead of commentating on it, Alisha went in all guns blazing with Paddy.

Brooke, Cass, Cat and Alisha decided to sit down and debrief about their season of The Bachelor Australia. Cat was quick to ask Brooke what happened between her and Nick, and in a shocking revelation, Brooke announced that on her last date with Nick he secretly stopped the cameras to tell her that he wasn’t going to pick anyone at the end.

Shannon scored the first date card of the season, and while James was quietly confident at being picked, Shannon shocked everyone by choosing Paddy.

Alisha was guttered that Paddy was away on a date with Shannon, but was delighted when he returned home firmly in the friend zone.

Nathan tried to get to know Rachael a little better but her problem on their 11year age gap proved an issue.

A new day saw new drama start to surface with the revelation that Bill had been connecting with girls ahead of Paradise. Paddy decided to confront him about the rumours and things got heated.

And just when we thought it couldn’t get juicier, former Bachelor Richie Strathan arrived ready to spice up Paradise.
