Today, Netflix unveils its much-anticipated limited series Ripley.

When Ripley begins, we are introduced to Tom Ripley (Andrew Scott) who is in New York grifting and conning people out of their money to live.

When Dickie Greenleaf’s (Johnny Flynn) wealthy father hires Tom to bring Dickie home from Italy, it’s an opportunity he can’t afford to turn down. Arriving in Italy, Tom finds Dickie painting on the Amalfi Coast with his author girlfriend Marge (Dakota Fanning). Meeting the duo, Marge is suspicious of Tom while Dickie welcomes him with open arms and the two end up spending a lot of time together.

What starts as a job soon becomes a spine-tingling and complex life of deceit, fraud, and murder for Ripley.

Penned by Steven Zaillian, this adaption of Patricia Highsmith’s 1955 crime novel ‘The Talented Mr Ripley’ gives a slow approach to the well-known story rich in character and filled with sublime performances.

This is sure to be one of Netflix’s best series of the year, so don’t miss it.
