It’s been brewing for a few weeks and now Neighbours is about to reveal a big secret about Pierce Greyson.
For the last few weeks Pierce (Tim Robards) has been dodging his ex’s calls, but last night Chloe (April Rose Pengilly) answered Peirce’s phone to find an irate Ebony (Christie Hayes) demanding that Pierce start taking some responsibility. This only adds to Mark’s (Scott McGregor) suspicion that Ebony was expecting a little Greyson when she left Erinsborough back in July.
When we pick up the story tonight, Pierce’s secret is told to Mark, who urges him to tell his sister the truth. As he resolved to do so, Pierce receives another mysterious message and heads off to deal with it.
Anxious about what Pierce could be hiding, Chloe heads to his house to confront him. Here she uncovers Pierce’s secret – a suave, 17-year-old son named Hendrix (Benny Turland), who has just been expelled from boarding school.
Given they only rekindled their romance the night before, how will Pierce explain himself, why hasn’t he mentioned Hendrix before, and how will Chloe react to the whole situation?
Hendrix is a wonderful addition to the show, fleshing out Pierce’s story by adding a much-needed layer to the character. His first episode leaves me excited to see what the writers have in store for him.
