BINGE today announced that the action-comedy series Peacemaker, starring John Cena, has been renewed for a second season.
From The Suicide Squad writer and director James Gunn and producer Peter Safranthe, Season 1 of the eight episode series explores the origins of a compellingly vainglorious man who believes in peace at any cost, no matter how many people he has to kill to get it. Gunn will direct and write all episodes for season two.
Season one cast includes: Cena as Peacemaker, Danielle Brooks as Adebayo, Freddie Stroma as Vigilante, Jennifer Holland as Harcourt, Steve Agee as Economos, Chukwudi Iwuji as Murn, and Robert Patrick as Auggie Smith.
