Netflix has announced today that it is working on an adaptation of bestselling, iconic Australian novel, Boy Swallows Universe.
The new adaptation comes as part of Netflix’s investment in local content, and builds on its mission to bring unique Australian stories to the world.
Featuring Australian cast and crew in partnership with Brouhaha Entertainment, Executive Producers will be Troy Lum (The Water Diviner, Saving Mr Banks, Mao’s Last Dancer) from Brouhaha Entertainment, Andrew Mason (The Matrix, The Water Diviner), Sophie Gardiner (Howard’s End, Chimerica),Kerry Roberts (Foe, Boy Erased) and Joel Edgerton (The Great Gatsby, Bright, The King) from the Blue-Tongue Films Collective.
