Tonight the neighbourhood throws a party for one of its youngest residents.
It’s Nell’s (Ayisha Salem-Towner) sweet sixteenth, and for once, everything seems to be perfect for our favourite Nellyfish – she’s back in Ramsay Street, living with Terese (Rebekah Elmaloglou), and is right across the road from her boyfriend JJ (Riley Bryant). And to top everything off, her dad Toadie (Ryan Moloney) has brought along her brother Hugo (Tanner Ellis-Anderson) to help her celebrate her big day.
The day appears to be going well. Weirdly, Terese and Toadie are amicable and far from the awkwardness one would expect from exes. Also in attendance to celebrate the birthday girl is Susan (Jackie Woodburne) and the Vagra-Murphy clan.
But after spending time at one of her treasured spots, she makes an announcement that may turn this sweet day sour.
Elisabeth Packett gets to mark the milestone of a character who has packed a lot in since her debut as a baby, and whose story is really just getting started.
