It’s been a big two weeks for Neighbours fans, but the emotional rollercoaster isn’t over yet as we take a trip to Sydney.
After his pulmonary fibrosis diagnosis, Hendrix (Benjamin Turland) has been reeling from the news that, without a lung transplant in the next three years, he will die.
Struggling under pressure, Hendrix and Mackenzie (Georgie Stone) decide to take a trip to Sydney to take a break from life in Erinsborough. The loved-up duo arrive in Sydney on a memorable trip before paying a visit to Hendrix’s family – dad Pierce (Tim Robards), sisters Alana (Molly Broadstock) and Maeve (Beatrix Van Vliet) and mum Lisa (Jane Alsop).
The couple are determined to keep Hendrix’s condition a secret, but nothing ever stays a secret on Neighbours…
It can be a risk to devote a whole episode to one storyline, but in the wise hands of Executive Producer Jason Herbison, viewers will be treated to a special episode that allows Benny and Georgia a chance to shine. It’s also a nice surprise to see Tim and Jane reprise their roles, and to finally meet Alana.
Even as Neighbours begins to wind down, it’s still bringing unmissable drama.
