Neighbours fans have had an emotional time of late, but we aren’t passed it just yet.
Tonight, Toadie (Ryan Moloney), along with his friends and family, return to Erinsborough on the day of Sonya’s memorial, collectively bracing themselves for the difficult day ahead. Toaide, Callum (Morgan Baker), Jade (Gemma Pranita) and Nell (Scarlett Anderson), surrounded by their loved ones, gather by Lassiters’ Lake for a touching and emotional service to honour Sonya, just as she wished.
Some familiar faces also make an appearance at the funeral. Lucas Fitzgerald (Scott Major), Vanessa Villante (Alin Sumerwata), Angie Rebecchi (Lesley Baker) and Willow Somers (Mieke Billing-Smith) all return to Erinsborough to farewell Sonya.
There are touching speeches from Sonya’s loved ones as we get a final chance to say goodbye. The memorial has a few nice nods to the past and is an emotionally brilliant way to honour the beloved character.
Bring the tissues as everyone delivers a truly emotional performance in this must-watch episode.
