It’s been a long two weeks for Neighbours fans, but our favourite Ramsay Street residents are finally back on our screens for a new year.
When we were last in Erinsborough, Holly (Lucinda Armstrong Hall) had been given a gift from her deceased ex, the share house trio was involved in a hit-and-run while Byron (Xavier Molyneux) watched on in shock, and the Varga-Murphy clan was ready to depart for New York when a heavily pregnant Chelsea (Viva Bianca) made a surprise reappearance.
Returning to the drama on the Power Road, Byron rushes to help after the hit-and-run, and while Sadie (Emerald Chan) is fine with only a few cuts, the same cannot be said for either Max (Ben Jackson) or Seb (Rarmian Newton). Both are transferred to Erinsborough Hospital, and while Leo (Tim Kano) may have let Seb’s location slip, Max also has some skeletons buried in his closet.
Meanwhile, Holly is visited by Yaz (Chrishell Stause), who insists on knowing more about Heath (Ethan Panizza). Unaware of her endgame, Holly fills her in, not knowing the connection.
And elsewhere, Paul (Stefan Dennis) and Terese (Rebekah Elmaloglou) continue to live in their love bubble, and Aaron (Matt Wilson) gets a visit from Rhett (Liam Maguire,). Is love finally back on the radar as we approach a year of widow-hood for Aaron?
Wendy Hanna gets the privilege of kicking of 2025 with a love-filled but dramatic half hour that moves the cliffhangers of 2024 into a new year of unmissable drama.
Neighbours airs 4:00pm Monday-Thursday on 10, with episodes repeated at 6:30pm on 10Peach Comedy.
