Neighbours fans are in for a treat next year with an epic list of returnees having been announced for Neighbours 30th anniversary
Joining Delta Goodrem (Nina Tucker), Ian Smith (Harold Bishop) and Anne Charleston (Madge Bishop) back on Ramsay Street in Erinsborough will be:
o Paul Keane who played Des Clarke from 1985 to 1990.
o Gary Files who played Tom Ramsay in 1986 and returned as a regular cast member from 1990 to 1991.
o Andrew Williams who played Guy Carpenter from 1991 to 1992.
o Melissa Bell who played Lucy Robinson in a regular role from 1991 to 1993 and then guest appearances from 1995 to 2014.
o Anne Scott-Pendlebury who played Hilary Robinson from 1987to 1990.
o Stephanie McIntosh who played Sky Mangle from 2003 to 2007.
o Nell Fenney who played Janelle Timmins from 2004 to 2007.
o Scott Major who played Lucas Fitzgerald from 2008 to 2013.
o Alin Sumarwata who played Vanessa Villante from 2012 to 20
While the show is keeping things well under wraps about what brings the characters back to Erinsbourgh
The show’s Series Producer, Jason Herbison has revealed , the 30th Anniversary episodes will feature an array of story arches laced with a hefty dose of drama, action, humour, romance and, of course, heartbreak “You name it, we have every spectrum of emotion covered for the 30th with a lot of twists and turns with the stories and many surprises,” said Herbison.
In March, Network Ten will proudly present a stand-alone special event to commemorate the 30th birthday of the iconic Australian drama series.
The special will feature interviews with many of the show’s current and former stars reflecting on their time on the show, revealing their favourite anecdotes and talking about what Neighbours has meant to their careers. Kylie Minogue, Jason Donovan and Guy Pearce will be joined by many other Neighbours alumni who are soon to be announced.
The Neighbours 30th Anniversary celebrations will air on Eleven in March next year.
Neighbours airs it’s 2014 finale week next week at 6:30 on Eleven.
