When a US Navy Attache is found sliced open in a cinema bathroom, with a USB lodged in his throat, the NCIS team believe he was a dissident who has been murdered.
As the investigation continues, DeShawn (Sean Sagar) and Evie (Tuuli Narkle) find themselves at an international chess tournament in Sydney, where his daughter Rana (Lily Montalto) is playing.
With pieces in motion, the race in on for answers, and with Blue (Mavournee Hazel) still sidelined, will Trigger (Claude Jabbour) be able to assist the team to a checkmate?
