Tonight NCIS: Sydney finally dives deep into one of its own.
Following last week’s shock break in conclusion, you would think the team would be delving into that case, especially when Mackey’s (Olivia Swann) personal photo was stolen. But this week, JD (Todd Lasance) checks in with with best mate AFP Sergeant Rory Latham (Johnny Carr) following a critical incident alert about an IED explosion- a targeted attack that wiped out Trigger’s (Claude Jabbour) old bomb squad. Reeling from the loss, Trigger is determined to help the AFP, and JD and Mackey swiftly offer up the NCIS team to Latham. Shifting through the wreckage, they make two disturbing discoveries- a 6 hour countdown to the next bomb and a calling card that triggers a ghost from Trigger’s past.
While Mackey, JD and DeShawn (Sean Sagar) try to decipher the bomber’s clues, Doc Roy (William McInnes) must learn to work with AFP Forensic Pathologist Nia Bryson (Rebecca Gibney). It’s a race against time in one of the most personal cases yet.
Written by Michael Miller & James Cripps this week finally unravels Travis Riggs and gives Claude Jabbour a chance to shine. The dynamic between Rebecca Gibney and William McInnes is a true highlight.
NCIS: Sydney is streaming on Paramount+ with new episodes every Tuesday.
