Tonight, NCIS: Sydney faces a tricky question about whether man or machine is the murderer…
After a high-tech military drone kills Tegan (Jachelle Small), the teenage daughter of Navy Procurement Specialist Ethan Macpherson (Maurice Meredith), the team are curious to find that her throat has been slit by something mysteriously mechanical.
Tracing social media posts from the crime scene, Blue (Mavournee Hazel) comes across the elite gamer squad ‘Fortress Crew’. Uncovering footage that shows an underground drone race that Tegan won, Blue attempts to infiltrate Fortress Crew.
Meanwhile Mackey (Olivia Swann) and JD (Todd Lasance) discover that Ethan was working on a deal with Tech CEO Julian Black (Nic English), whose state-of-the-art military drone ‘Darwin 2’ recently went missing. When DeShawn (Sean Sagar) and Evie (Tuuli Narkle) track down the missing drone, it turns out that it’s been accidently triggered to attack and kill.
As the rogue drone blasts its way out of HQ to finish its mission, it’s going to take some serious human intelligence to bring down this artificially intelligent killing machine.
Written by Michael Miller, the episode is not only intriguing but gives Hazel another chance to truly shine.
NCIS: Sydney is now streaming on Paramount+, with new episodes every Tuesday.
