NBL Finals series Schedule

The 2022 NBL season has been one of the most spectacular on record, and ESPN is the only place to catch every game of the NBL Finals beginning Thursday.

ESPN has announced it will make every game of the 2022 NBL Semi Finals and Grand Final available to Australian basketball fans LIVE and FREE on ESPN, via Kayo Freebies, in addition to ESPN’s existing subscription platforms.

Kayo Freebies can be accessed by downloading the Kayo Sports app or visiting www.kayosports.com.au/freebies.

To unlock the action, fans simply need to create an account the same way they would for free-to-air streaming apps. Kayo Freebies are free with no credit card details required.

The 2022 NBL season has been one of the most spectacular on record, with the NBL Finals participants only decided in the final seconds of the regular season, and the road to the NBL Grand Final will be just as thrilling.

The NBL Semi Finals Series will see defending NBL champions and #1 seed Melbourne United take on #4 seed Tasmania JackJumpers, and the #2 seed lllawarra Hawks take on the #3 seed Sydney Kings.

The two Semi Final series begin on Thursday April 28 and Friday April 29 respectively – kick starting a potential six straight days of action.

On Thursday April 28 Melbourne United meet the Tasmania JackJumpers at 7.30pm AEST.

Top seeds United are looking to retain their NBL crown and go back to back for the first time in their history. Meanwhile the JackJumpers have been the fairytale story, securing a Finals berth in their inaugural season and thrilling their new fans.

The JackJumpers will then host their first ever finals game with Game Two on Saturday April 30 at 8pm AEST, before United retain home court advantage for the decider, if needed, on Monday May 2

Friday April 29 will see Illawarra Hawks take on Sydney Kings live at 7.30pm AEST from Wollongong.

The two teams squared off only last Sunday to close their regular seasons. The Hawks victory in that game meant a home court advantage for the best of three series, ensuring two games are scheduled for WIN Entertainment Centre.

The Hawks and Kings will again collide in Game Two on Sunday May 1st at 3pm AEST, before returning to the South Coast for the deciding third game, if required, on Tuesday May 3 at 7.30pm AEST

Dates for the NBL Grand Final series will be released at the conclusion of the Semi Final stage, with every game LIVE and FREE on ESPN, via Kayo Freebies.
